He said: “The spring Welsh gambling (well, all year round) was weather and was blessed on the first day, but on Saturday it deteriorated when I walked along the top of the cliffs in the cemetery.
“But you couldn't stop you, we ploughed, and it was worth it despite the darkness, with its stunning scenery. Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) came into view as we reached a corner of the mainland Northwest Wales.”
The group returned to Avadaron Wet, but are pleased to have burned most of those breakfasts before heading for dinner.
Owen said: “We learned from our mistakes on a Friday evening. This time we booked earlier – we chose the location at Llanbedrog (Ship Inn).

Good people in Anglesey and Pembrokeshire may want to look away right now. According to Northwest Business Correspondent Owen Hughes, Wales' best beaches are in Siml's extended arms. He recently took a weekend break and went to Thailand Koch with a friend, and found out that the suspicion had been exterminated quickly.
In his opinion, it is truly invincible. “On this particular sunny spring day at Porth Dinluen, where the cape blocks the west winds, this corner of the Lalin Peninsula felt like a med. Chile is one of the best beach bars in the world.”

He once thought that pubs would have been the start, end, and period of a youth holiday, but now they are 50 years old, and they chose to go for a pub lunch before they head out for a walk.
He said: “Wearing our walking boots, we headed west along the cape, first weaving along the narrow cliffside path, then across the edge of the Nefin Golf Club Course, cutting inland, completing an hour-long circuit.
“It was enough to justify refueling further and justify one recommendation from the group. In the end, we drove down a small country lane to the most unlikely spots of cafes and eclectic shops.
This group stayed at Pengoppa Cottage near Brinkrose, inland from Abadaron and Abasosh.

According to Owen, the location was “spot on.” “The beautiful, remote, the 3 bedroom location was charmingly traditional, but also included all the comfort and mod-con.”
One drawback of Wales is that outside of peak season it is difficult to find a place that is open late for dinner.
He said: “We were already heading into slow holiday mode and by the time we checked, most takeaways were closed so we were ready to catch the pub soon.

“We headed towards Abasosh, but the Llanbedrog spot took our fantasies.
The next target – Avasok's – said they served food until 9pm, but that wasn't the case. It was my third time I was lucky, but I was nervous when I checked in the kitchen and waited.
“So, while the beach looks like medicine, this isn't Spain when it comes to evening hospitality.”
The next morning, the group enjoyed the hot tub and general outdoor facilities in the cottage.

From there they traveled the road to the village of Abadaron, located west of Lilyn.
Owen said: “I did my research and headed straight to the bakery, a bakery where bread and cakes are baked daily. There's a cafe on the ground floor that serves breakfast and other meals.
“We all went for a Full Wales breakfast and continued to fuel us in the future. It helped us well. The choice of delicious snack counters was also very appealing, so I would definitely recommend it in the area.”
These carbohydrates were needed as we set out for our next walk along the headland beyond Avadaron.

Like a typical Sunday, the group turned out to be the most glorious day of the weekend, and Mother's Day.
Owen said: “There was still a difficult time to tell if the view and breakfast was better at Wern Caravan Park, outside Nefin.
“Looking up at the YR EIFL, I felt it while we were pretty crammed.
