Beautifully located in the former duke of Duke Marlborough's home of the former manners is in Langley. The hotel is located within the spectacular Langley Park in Buckinghamshire, just a 40-minute drive from London. From sophisticated rooms and suites to comfortable lounges, Langley is not elsewhere, just a stone throw from Pinewood Studios.
Plus, you don't even have to leave the complex to enjoy a country flavour on a bike that offers guests a loan. You can also enjoy panoramic views of Lake Langley from the outdoor swimming pool and bar terrace. Using a bag you removed after your arrival, reception staff can assist in the Grand Entrance Hall, featuring original mosaic tile flooring and an elaborate floral display under the ground steer case.

The hotel has just 41 luxurious bedrooms, divided into Duke Marlborough's former hunting lodge and Grade II, with 18th-century brewers listed on the other side.
Rooms include Classic, Brew House Deluxe, Main House Deluxe, Main House Suite, Main House Deluxe Suite, and Main House Deluxe Suite. They are all meticulously restored with modern furniture, along with historical features.
My hotel room number 25 was absolutely fantastic and I couldn't blame anything for the decoration or cleanliness. The attention to detail was pure white, and a luxurious toiletries were provided for use during your stay, with extra bath mats and free water.
Other features in the room included a large smart TV screen, a large wardrobe, robes and slippers to use during your stay, a minibar and safety.

Food and drinking:
The hotel has a stunning restaurant called Cedar with perfectly crafted dishes if there's something more formal, but at Churchill Bar, the hotel's bar area, there's a lighter option. Cedar captures the spirit of European cuisine, characterized by many influences from Spain, France and Italy, all sourced from local suppliers based in and around Buckinghamshire.
Their own destination, Cedar had a rich menu with starters such as mushroom cream, roasted pumpkin, polenta with seeds, pumpkin cream, crispy pancetta, lemon balm sponge and pan-fried scallops served with a bed of salmon caviar. Other options include carpaccio dimanzo, delicious 28-day dry-aged beef fillet carpaccio, mascarpone truffle cream, toasted hazelnuts, truffle shave and gold leaves.
The starters were absolutely incredible, the service was quick and efficient, and the waiters made the experience extremely enjoyable by supporting the handbag on their own stand to avoid sitting on the outside floor.
The main course menu is extensive and samples can be found online. The beef fillet meal with roasted root was delicious and melted in the mouth. Pudding options included tiramisu, which tasted homemade and was incredibly luxurious.
When the morning arrives, breakfast will be served at the same restaurant. The restaurant offers both continental and pre-cooked options for guests. But it's not a buffet, the staff work hard to work as hotel guests. Options included a full English breakfast, toasted avocado and French toast, but we chose the blueberry pancakes served with clot cream and maple syrup.
The service was incredible and the hotel staff made sure they had everything they needed without asking too many questions.
We also had to experience the lunch menu while I was there. I chose the steak sandwich. This was served with a salad bed with delicious chips, which was delicious. Mocktails, cocktails and an extensive alcohol list are also available, but I was particular about iced coffee that arrived quickly.

Spa and amenities
Langley Spa is one of the largest indoor spas in Europe. It has a 16-meter marble-lined swimming pool, numerous heat facilities and a menu of custom treatments.
The changing rooms were unparalleled. There was also a magnificent area with private showers and changing rooms and mirrors for applying makeup and doing hair. They were incredibly clean and tidy, so the staff worked hard to make sure the towels were restocked.
Spa facilities include a hammam (various bookable body ritual), a vibrant pool, a pink Himalayan salt-walled sauna, a large jacuzzi and a relaxation room.
The spa also has spacious treatment rooms where therapists provide a comfortable environment for individuals and couples. I experienced a relaxed facial and back massage tailored to my needs. An hour later I was taken to the relaxation room for calm music, hot tea and the bed to swell.
Additionally, the spa is home to a women's only thermal suite that allows visitors to soak in the rose quartz steam room and vitality pool. Langley Spa also offers private VIP suites, offering maximum privacy and allowing users to relax in uninterrupted quarantine.
After visiting the spa, we had no choice but to relax in the outdoor pool. Ice lemon water was provided as well as fresh towels if needed. We needed a cool April heated pool and the sun loungers weren't too close to each other. The pool setting is luxurious, overlooking the back of the hotel, the grounds and the lake just behind the pool.
In terms of beauty, there are hair salons, smooth gyms for exercise alone, Buddhist-made training, and group classes.

The hotel location is perfect. It is a quiet escape, half a mile from the road near the main. There are many things to do in the area. Black Park is on the other side and under the road, with easy access to the capital.
However, I felt that the hotel had everything I needed. For a one-night stay or a two-night stay, there is no need to leave the hotel if you are looking to relax.
It's hard to explain how great this hotel is, and the attention to detail was off the charts compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The hotel staff couldn't do any more for you.
With only 41 rooms, each guest is really well cared for and it's easy to see how this hotel won 5 stars.
The hotel is not cheap and there are no food or spa treatments, but I think all prices are justified and reasonable for the level of service you receive.
