The Kent coastline is a treasure trove of scenic locations, from the golden sands of Broadsteer to the charming Pebble Beach of Deal. Snugly surrounded between Herne Bay and Seasalter, Whitstable has become a beacon for beach fans. Just five miles north of Canterbury, this quaint town is filled with attractions that tempt visitors.

Its impressive eateries, pubs, rich history, and landmarks such as Whittore Castles and Gardens become undeniable favorites. But it is a vast beach in Whitlabel, truly solidifying its position as a major destination, attracting crowds every year. The town's charm has captivated many famous personalities. Iconic hammer horror actor Peter Cushing spent many years in whitish trouble, leaving behind an indelible mark.

Comedians Harry Hill and Alan Davis are among the well-known figures who, along with journalist Janet Street Porter, have made it home.

Even the A-listers are browsing the coast with Aaron Paul and Adult Film Sensation Mia Khalifa of Breaking Bad, seeking comfort in the calm environment of Whitstable. After her visit, Mia Khalifa declared on Instagram that Whitstable was reporting Kentlive, saying it was “better than Miami.”

The 32-year-old influencer spent two blissful weeks in 2022 at the blissful, luxurious beachfront Airbnb.

For those who want to fantasize brushes with fame, look no further than the old Neptune pub. It perfectly sets up a heartbeat away from the Sandy Stretch and is also a sought after retreat among celebrities' circuits.

Lovingly called “Neppies,” this dog-friendly public house hosts an array of top-notch local ales and Vinos. The smirky owner regularly flaunted photos on his Facebook page and took shots with famous customers.

Musical talents like Louis Dunford, known for his national anthem “The Angel (North London Forever),” are discovered here as he tastes a drink. Actor Sean Williamson, famous for playing Barry in EastEnders, also stopped by for a visit.

The Rittany of the Stars doesn't stop there. The culinary sense, Tom Kerridge, TV presenter Stacey Dooley and Love Island Personality Montana Brown enjoy the hilarious atmosphere of this pub.

Certainly, the foamy blend of fame and salty sea breeze is a commonplace in Whitlab, which not only offers picturesque views but also serves as a star magnet.

Aside from stargazing, this seaside gem makes waves as an idyllic backdrop for both film and television buffs. It has been featured in hits such as Acorn TV's “Whitstable Pearl,” “Interior Design Masters,” and even “Celebrity Antique Roadshow.”

Known for appearing in films such as “A Quiet Life,” starring Eddie Marsan, Whitlove Beach is a magnet for both the film industry and the celebrities.

Segmented by wooden glones, this long shiny beach makes visitors attractive from afar. Despite the lack of typical seaside attractions like golden sand and piers and rides, beach guides praise the encapsulation of “traditional British seaside best” for its unique charm.

A casual walk along the coast unveils colorful beach hats and fishing boats painted on the coast. Nearby, there is no shortage of places to eat, including the famous Whitstable Oyster Company.

Right next to it is a Southki hut, which has been added to the area offering great eateries and separate shops these days. Whitstable Beach is also a popular spot for Windsurfing and Sailing, while Whitstable Yacht Club is heading towards the Northern End.

Additionally, the west-facing location of the beach makes it the best place for viewing the sunset.
