The UK-based SkyTeam Alliance Carrier Virgin Atlantic is opening its services to Seoul, South Korea's capital, ahead of next summer season.
Virgin Atlantic says it will use a Boeing 787-9 to operate the route daily from London Heathrow.
The plan was revealed as a new route to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, began on April 23rd.
The Seoul route will begin on March 29th, 2026.
Virgin Atlantic says the service is “based on the airline's eastward expansion.” This includes operations to Indian destinations such as Dubai, Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
“The new services are expected to attract primarily leisure customers,” Carrier adds.
Through Seoul, passengers can connect to 15 cities via codeshares with various SkyTeam partners, including Korean Airlines.
