Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), a global leader in innovative cruise travel, concludes the maiden voyage of Norwegian Aqua, a highly anticipated new vessel, from Lisbon to Southampton, England.
Marking a new chapter in the evolution of the NCL fleet, Norwegian Aqua hosted over 2,000 invited guests and experienced how the brand is delivering the latest innovations and products.
As the first vessel in the cutting edge Prima Plus class, Norwegian Aqua is built on the award-winning Prima class heritage, showing off groundbreaking experiences and allowing guests to enjoy more of what they like about cruising in the NCL. Guests on this exclusive voyage are one of the first to experience the ship's industry-leading attractions and amenities. To celebrate this opportunity, NCL will release the first appearance of 20 ships, showing off premium design and major innovations.

Leading the way is the world's first hybrid roller coaster and water slide – the thrilling aqua slide coaster, offering two exhilarating and unique ride experiences as the longest and fastest slides in the ocean. Guests can also enjoy cutting-edge glow coats, the next generation digital sports complex, with interactive LED floors that adapt seamlessly to a variety of games during the day and transform into clubs at night. Additionally, the Aqua Games Zone rethinks NCL's beloved Galaxy Pavilion and offers entertainment by combining retro arcade games of all ages, immersive virtual reality challenges and interactive gaming experiences.
Along with the Norwegian Aqua lineup, there is no shortage of entertainment featuring world-class productions created in collaboration with talent from top industries. “Revolution: A Celebration of Prince” is the headline of the roster and offers an immersive theatrical concert experience that pays homage to the legendary artist's biggest hit. Guests can also experience “Elements: The World Excelded,” an expanded version of NCL's top-rate show. You can also blend acrobatics, magic and stunning visuals inspired by the four elements.
Additionally, guests can go to Epicurean Adventures at 17 new and returning guests' favourite restaurants, as well as 18 bars and lounges. A new dining experience at Norway's Aqua is Scottay. Sukhothai is a debut plant-based eatery at Indurji Food Hall, a plantery offering a rich culinary journey inspired by Thai vibrant cuisine in an elegant and modern setting.
Following her inauguration, Norwegian Aqua embarks on a transatlantic voyage to the United States, where she will be officially baptized in Miami on April 13, 2025. She will then offer itineraries in the Bahamas, Caribbean and Bermuda for all types of travelers, including the world's cruise capitals Miami and Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, and Port Canaveral (Orlando), New York City, and until March 2027.
