Most of us like to book holidays each year, but EM is doing her mission to see as many countries as possible about work.
In a compilation of videos detailing the 15 countries visited throughout 2024, Travel Buff ranked their favorite destinations and slightly disappointed destinations, listing them from “worst to best.” The number one spots included potentially surprising entries: Bosnia and Herzegovina.
What makes Bosnia and Herzegovina so special?
The country on the Balkans is known for its medieval villages. Dinalic Alps; vast rivers, lakes and waterfalls. Many monasteries and mosques, and rich historic venues.
It is home to the old bridge in Mostar, home to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, boasting a diverse culture that blends eastern and western elements and influences. On her trip, EM ventured into the capital, Saraev, and Mostar city.
In a round-up video of the photo shared on Tiktok, she shared the scenic image of one of its large rivers and the country depicting stunning forestry and architecture. She said, “I loved everything about this place – so beautiful, affordable and there's so much to do, so I'm definitely coming back because I have more to do in the country.”
In the comments section, people agreed to her rating. One person said: “I just returned from Bosnia. It was probably the best place I've ever had. It was gorgeous and the food was insanely affordable.”
Another addition: “I agree, Bosnia is a very beautiful country.

Among Portugal's Albafeira, which is a staunch to many vacationers, the leading travel expert said:
In contrast, she added: Another respected destination she was not keen to revisited included Milan, Italy.
EM explained: “I didn't dislike Milan, but I probably won't come back. I really liked the spa, but for Italy everything was very expensive and didn't help that rain all the way through the TBH.”
But not all popular destinations were lit. He praised Rome, another desirable destination choice for many, and praised its rich history and “amazing buildings.”
