    3. On the strand

    This stunning leisure bay resort border is the beach. This makes for a great team building venue as guests can stay on site and use the beach for endless activities.     4. Pon Holiday and Water Sports Resort

    Surrounded by the Umtamvuna Valley next to the mouth of the Umtamvuna River, Ponto is a heritage and gateway between KZN and Transkei. This location makes this an ideal water-based team building experience, fishing for kayaking, skiing, boating and some of the great activities to consider. The overnight retreat features 45 campsites and great facilities such as bars and restaurants at the edge of the river, including a swimming pool, a children's play park and a brie area.

    5. Bellevue Guesthouse and Ecopark

    This is an ideal nature-based retreat set in 11 hectares of spacious gardens and subtropical forests, making it perfect for outdoor team building adventures. Bellevue, located halfway between Ramsgate and South Bloom, overlooking the Inbezane River, which can be incorporated into planned team building events, and the botanical garden features more than 200 species of Indigenous trees.     6. River Valley Nature Reserve

    Event organizers looking for an affordable campground in the middle of the nature reserve must book at River Valley in Margate. This is limited to five sites in the shaded section of the Ibung River bank, with antelopes and small mammals roaming freely. On-site team building activities include bird watching, fishing, hiking and picnicking at this stunning KZN South Coast Reserve. The dams and rivers attract more than 130 bird species, and anglers fish for bass and tilapia at nearby dams.

    7. Happy Wanderers Beach Front Holiday Resort

    This private resort is located 500 metres on the pristine Kelso Beach and is a team building playground perfect for any organization. There is a self-equipped apartment, a private log cabin and a campsite with 86 sites under the milkwood trees just off the sea. Visitors can enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar. More formal engagement is required at corporate retreat meeting venues.

    8. CrocworldConservation Center

    For a little bit different, businesses can consider a day trip to the Scottburg-based Clock World Conservation Centre, where a variety of birds, reptiles and other interesting animals live. Visitors enjoy daily talks and demonstrations (either on-site snake or crocodile feed), along with insights into local conservation activities. The center is also home to Henry, the world-famous Nile crocodile, at age 124, the oldest Nile crocodile on the planet. With a wraparound deck and ocean views, the stunning Fish Eagle Cafe is a great place for staff to relax and relax. Clock World also features Zikareza Outdoor Adventure. This is an aerial zipline adventure that is ideal for team building fun.
