Kenya's open border policy has enhanced global mobility by not only promoting inbound travel, but also enabling visa-free destinations for citizens.
For Kenyan travelers, maintaining a strong passport means that access to numerous destinations is easier without the complexity of a visa application or the long-term approval process. Whether it's leisure or business, Kenyans enjoy greater freedom of movement.
According to VisainDex, Kenyan passport holders are currently benefiting from visa-free access to 15 US countries, including popular destinations such as the Bahamas and Barbados.
In Oceania, Kenyans are free to travel to seven countries, including Fiji and Vanuatu. In Asia, five countries, including Malaysia and Singapore, offer admission without a grant visa.
Additionally, in Africa, Kenyan citizens enjoy visa-free access to 21 countries, encouraging seamless travel across the continent.
The benefits of these travels will help streamline the process for Kenyans. Kenyans want to engage in business and diplomatic activities, which significantly reduces the time spent on management procedures.
Local visa-free access
While some African countries have taken steps to ease travel restrictions for fellow Africans, studies show that western citizens are still easier to access parts of the continent. It's been done.
