    Ethiopian Airlines has signed a strategic agreement with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to equip the Astrava with the future Boeing 777X fleet. The agreement covers line-compliant installations of the system on eight 777-9 aircraft ordered by the airline, with initial delivery scheduled for 2028.

    With this decision, Ethiopia's flagship will establish itself as a leader in innovation within the African continent and global stages, reinforcing its commitment to deliver a world-class flight experience.

    Astrova: 30,000 feet of immersive experience

    Astrova promises to redefine the concept of entertainment in flight. Each passenger will enjoy a 4K OLED screen with HDR10+ support. It offers movie-quality visuals and high-fidelity audio powered by Panasonic Avionics' latest Bluetooth technology.

    Additionally, all seats are equipped with a USB-C port that provides up to 100W of power, allowing fast charging of smartphones, tablets, compatible laptops and other electronic devices at all stages of the flight.

    The system also features programmable LED lighting designed to enhance the atmosphere of the cabin at each stage of the trip and optimize passenger comfort.

    The agreement also represents the strategic steps of Panasonic Avionics to strengthen its presence in the African market, which aims to expand with cutting-edge technology solutions.
